Smart Farm Web App for Poultry Disease Detection and Identification

 

The Smart farm web app is an innovative tool designed for poultry farmers to predict, identify and manage diseases in their poultry farm. The smart farm  web app  is divided into different parts based on the part of the chicken being examined and the associated disease it can identify. The app uses machine-learning algorithms and Artificial Intelligence to analyse images and provide real-time analysis of disease patterns on the farm.

It is important to note that this app currently focuses on specific chicken diseases, which will be indicated when selecting a chicken part.  For optimal performance,  please follow the displayed instructions. For example, selecting ‘Faeces’  may yield results like Cocci, Salmo, NCD, or Healthy. Note that the app does not cover all chicken diseases, but we are working to expand its detection capabilities.  Any disease outside the expected outcome , may not yield  the best result as it  was not used to train the model.  Also using wrong  image sample for a wrong chicken part  e.g . using faeces image sample  for liver  part may  result in wrong detection

This section of the app is designed to identify diseases in the faeces of the chicken. The following
diseases can be identified: Cocci, Salmo, Ncd, Healthy (Normal)

Liver
This section of the app is designed to identify diseases in the liver of the chicken. The following
diseases can be identified: Salmo, Friable, Ecoli, Normal

Intestine
This section of the app is designed to identify diseases in the intestine of the chicken. The following
diseases can be identified: Cocci, Cocci(Cecal), Normal

Heart
This section of the app is designed to identify diseases in the heart of the chicken. The following
diseases can be identified: Ecoli, Normal

Spleen
This section of the app is designed to identify diseases in the spleen of the chicken. The following
diseases can be identified: Normal, Enlarged_spleen, Salmo.

Hemorrhages
This section of the app is designed to identify diseases based on haemorrhages in different parts of the
chicken. The following diseases can be identified: Haemorrage_thigh_muscles, Ibd_thigh
region,Ibd_inflammed_bursa,ncd_proventriculus.
